Lisa Angelo: Cuban Fusion (Part 2)

It’s hard to miss Jimmie, a 1961 airstream that has traded camping for cooking, bedecked in orange, pink, and pigs. The food trailer, though, only hints at the personality of the owner, operator and head-chef: Lisa Angelo.

The habanero aioli really is the kicker.

Lisa and Jimmie can be found throughout Colorado in the Denver area–and is a regular at food truck parks such as the Rayback Collective in Boulder. Check out updates on Facebook, or at http://cubanfusion.net/

  1. You’re spending too much time at the Rayback Collective…grin. You’ve got a great character and you shot this well. What I’m really dying to see (and hear) is a customer digging into the food. A photo of their joy eating, and maybe a comment or two from them (that’s not something I asked for in the assignment, but it would help this presentation).
